Casino & Online Games
Online casino is not one game type. Slots, live dealer games, crash games and classic table games use different mechanics, evidence and decision criteria, so this hub separates them before you choose a deeper guide.
The four main paths in this casino guide
Online Slots
RNG-driven reel games with stated rules, pay systems and often published RTP information.
Learn about slots →Live Casino
Games streamed from a studio where physical equipment such as cards or roulette wheels can determine results.
Learn about live casino →Crash Games
Fast rounds built around a rising multiplier and a decision to cash out before the round ends.
Learn about crash games →Table Games
Roulette, blackjack and baccarat each use different rules, house-edge structures and player decisions.
Compare table games →RNG games and live games are not the same thing
The UK Gambling Commission distinguishes live casino games, where outcomes are generated by physical casino equipment usually operated by a human croupier, from virtual games where outcomes are generated by a random number generator (RNG). That distinction is useful because the evidence you should inspect differs by category.
| Category | Outcome source | What to inspect | Typical examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | RNG/software | Rules, pay system, RTP information, volatility, bonus mechanics | Video slots, tumbling slots |
| Live casino | Physical equipment + live stream | Table rules, limits, dealing/shuffling process, stream/studio integrity | Roulette, blackjack, baccarat |
| Crash | Game-specific software/result generation | Round rules, multiplier behavior, cash-out rules, provider documentation | Aviator-style games |
| Virtual table games | RNG/software | Rules, RTP/house edge, strategy assumptions where applicable | RNG roulette, blackjack, baccarat |
RTP is a long-run design measure—not a promise for one session
Return to Player (RTP) describes the proportion of stakes a game is designed to return as prizes over a large number of plays. It does not mean a player should expect that percentage back during a short session. Regulators also emphasize that volatility affects how widely actual outcomes can move around theoretical RTP over smaller samples.
A practical decision framework
1. Identify the mechanics
Know whether the game is RNG-based, live dealer, crash-style or a classic table game.
2. Read the rules before staking
Check how winners are determined, how prizes are allocated and what RTP or house-edge information is provided.
3. Verify current availability
Game catalogues, limits and operator access can change by jurisdiction. Do not infer current access from an old review or screenshot.
